Washington DC's Vox Pop and Philadelphia's KeyStone will join forces for the first CAL Home & Home partnership performance at a showcase of a cappella presented in partnership with the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. On Saturday May 10th at 7pm, Vox Pop and KeyStone will take the stage to bring contemporary a cappella to Maryland's state capital in full force. They'll be joined by 2 local groups representing the very best of scholastic a cappella: St. Mary's High School all-female group Nothing but Treble, and University of Maryland's award-winning mixed group Faux Paz.

This has been a landmark year for both CAL groups. KeyStone released their first ever singles and are currently in production of their debut full-length album. The group filled up the rest of the calendar year with performances all over the Philadelphia regional area and hosted an A Cappella Ed Winter Workshop in conjunction with The Vocal Company. Vox Pop released their long-awaited debut album Mandate last October, which took Runner-Up in the Best CAL Album category at the 2014 CARAs! They also performed all over the DC metro area, including the finals of the 2014 Sing Into Spring competition presented by the National Cherry Blossom Festival. The two groups plan to fulfill their CAL partnership with a 2nd co-headlining show this fall in the Philadelphia area, date and location TBA.

You certainly won't want to miss this a cappella "supershow"! Tickets are on sale at the box office of Maryland Hall - information is available at www.marylandhall.org. And be sure to follow Vox Pop, KeyStone, Faux Paz, and Nothing but Treble on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest!
